Pikachu cafe

During my long holiday in Japan, I had the opportunity to go to Pikachu Cafe.  The decor, everything about it was so adorable! I especially loved the interior of the cafe. There were also these log plushies on the seats that you could cuddle with ❤ Additionally, you can purchase cute merchandise in the cafe. However on the day that I went, the Pikachu tail I wanted so badly was sold out.

You can take a picture with your friend wearing a pikachu hat or hoodie with the display there~

On the log plushie :D

My companion and I ordered a mashed potato pikachu that comes with pasta, pokeball rice, pikachu drink and dessert.

 This is made with mango souffle at the top which you can mix with the cappuccino below. Delicious really. The after-effect is a subtle hint of mango that goes surprisingly well. The pikachu ears are made of some wafer biscuit that left more to be desired.
 You get a Pikachu coaster for buying a drink! ❤ Kawaii ne!
 Pikachuuu I eat yooou. And as mentioned before, the face was made of mashed potato that was covered by the yellow 'skin' that helps make up the face. Once again, ears are made of wafer biscuit. Why not white chocolate ;w;
The pokeball is actually mapo tofu with minced meat. This was really good, the combination of cheese ontop of the mapo tofu and minced meat were a burst of flavours, and a joy to eat. The rice was great as well, although some toppings on the rice would great. Maybe they should go for a masterball looking rice? Would look pretty interesting to me. Nevertheless, presentation on this was great.

 Last but not least! We had a candy flossed cornflake filled mango ice cream dessert! Once again the biscuit ;w; But otherwise everything else was delicious! I love mango ^w^
Look at the flag! ^w^

Advice to those who intend to go there, especially for foreigners : The queue is astounding. Prepare to head there as early as 9am to queue. The moment you get your queue number, it's a 2-3 hour wait. But feel free to wander around Shibuya Parco during then, they will hold your reservation. Just pass the waiters your queue number and you may or might not have to queue abit more to get in the cafe.

Now, getting into the cafe. This is the part that irked me considerably. The moment I sat down in the cafe, I realized that there were quite a number of vacant tables. Why weren't the people who were waiting outside seated was mind boggling. To me this process could have sped up the waiting time significantly. But it was quite a fun experience, and those who truly love Pokemon should go for it! Hopefully in the near future should they release yet another cafe the queue won't be as long, fingers crossed.
